Round 2 submissions close June 15th @ 5pm ET

Just a final shout-out. These are the last few days to work on your project and submit in Round 2 of the 5G Edge Computing Challenge.

We just added a new resource to the hackathon page that can help many of you in the final days:

Testing for non-android devices, IOT devices, etc, can be done by establishing IPSEC tunnel to a OpenVPN server in the parent region and then connecting to the application running in the wavelength zone using the IPSEC tunnel. There is an AWS blog published for accomplishing this (to the region).

Final checklist:

Does your submission include the required components:

  • Did you build out your winning Round 1 Idea with special access to AWS Wavelength and Verizon 5G?
  • Have you created a submission video? Does your video meet the competition guidelines?
  • Did you include access to your application on the submission form?

This is the final stretch - keep up the good work.
